For the Fall 2017 semester, Dr. Gushee will be teaching a new course on Great Moral Leaders at McAfee. In the Spring of 2018, he will teach a similar Moral Leaders course to undergraduates in Macon, as well as an Ethics survey class at McAfee.

Dr. Gushee finds great joy in teaching and developing relationships with students outside of the classroom. He loves hanging out with students and teaching them lessons in humility on the tennis court.

Dr. Gushee supervises the Christian Social Ethics track at McAfee. He and his wife periodically open their home to host movie nights, or gatherings for students called Friends of Ethics nights. This tradition reaches back to Dr. Gushee’s time in Union Seminary in NY. Dr. Gushee also enjoys keeping up with his graduates as they move on toward various life paths.
